This Senior Accountant position comes with management responsibilities, ideal for professionals looking to develop their leadership skills. You will play a pivotal role in operations, with your performance opening the path to potential partnership in a rapidly expanding firm. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and develop the accounts department.* Train and mentor junior team members.* Provide strategic tax and business advice to clients.* Prepare financial statements (FRS102 and FRS105) and management accounts.* Handle VAT returns and advanced bookkeeping. Who You Are: * A Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in a client:facing role within an accounting practice.* Detail:oriented, organised, and capable of working independently.* Technologically adept, particularly with modern accounting software and Excel.* Strong communicator with a robust work ethic and a readiness to take on new challenges. Preferred Qualifications: * Some management experience is advantageous but not required.* A keen interest in business and financial strategy.
