THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE: Reporting directly to the sales director, and with support from marketing and technical pre:sales, you will take ownership of business development within specific commercial sectors. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan, identifying new business opportunities, and building a strong relationship with existing customers. There is limited travel required with occasional onsite customer meetings, attendance at industry events and monthly sales meetings. KEY SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: : Previous B2B sales experience : Qualified to degree level or equivalent : Technically minded : Excellent relationship:building skills SALARY and BENEFITS YOU'LL RECEIVE AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER: : GBP 30,000 : GBP 50,000 basic : Uncapped commission, typically around GBP 10,000 per year : 30 days holiday + public holidays : Flexible hours : Company pension : Private health and dental insurance : Gym membership : Life insurance.
