JOB : Product Assurance Engineer / Manager LOCATION : Stevenage TERM : Permanent SALARY : GBP 50,000 : GBP 75,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a Product Assurance Manager / Engineer on a permanent basis in the Stevenage area with experience in the Aerospace, Defence or Space / Satellite Industry. Your main duties will include overseeing the Quality and Product Assurance for both manufacturing and design processes across the business to ensure compliance and quality. The Product Assurance Manager / Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as an Engineer. : Working experience of a Quality / Product Assurance position. : Previous experience working with High Quality manufacturing environment (aerospace, defence, satellite, space or similar) : Good knowledge of product compliance, regulatory compliance and other similar procedures. : Have the ability to communicate with other members of staff and management. : Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written : Ability to work independently as well as team. : Experience in a project led design environment : beneficial. : Experience with electronics manufacturing and design : advantageous but not essential. The main duties of the Product Assurance Manager / Engineer role will involve: : Overseeing Quality and Product assurance responsibilities within the engineering and manufacturing teams. : Manager quality throughout the entire product life cycle. : Check appropriate documentation and procedures for product, processes and data : Providing support to the design team on best practices to ensure quality. : Liaising with the Management Systems Manager and Process Owners, advising on where Product Assurance can be improved.
