A Either via education or work experience, you will have some exposure to a technical environment. This could come from a variety of disciplines, such as Project Engineer, Service Engineer or technical support or an NVQ, HND or ONC in a technical or engineering based subject.A They key is that you have the potential to be credible in front of engineering and technical customers and candidates.A A track record of achieving targets within a sales environment.A The skill to overcome objections and be tenacious, but not pushy : thats what everyone else doesA The ability to connect with people and build long standing, professional working relationships with key decision makers.A A consultative approach to selling.A A natural instinct to closeA The ability to negotiate favourable terms ensuring a win:win (our MDs favourite phrase).A Highly developed communication skills.
