If you have a passion for cooking and a commitment to maintaining high food hygiene standards, we would love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Maintain Food Hygiene and Safety Standards: Ensure all food hygiene and safety requirements are met, including conducting daily audits. Menu Compliance and Enhancement: Follow the approved menu and look for cost-effective enhancements. Provide Nutritious and Attractive Meals: Create nourishing, cost-effective, and visually appealing meals. Special Dietary Requirements: Cater to special dietary needs, including vegetarian options and food intolerances. Portion Control and Waste Minimization: Adhere to portion control guidelines and work to minimize food waste. Timely Service: Ensure that snacks and meals are provided on time. Supportive and Clean Environment: Contribute to a welcoming, supportive, and clean environment. Clean Dining and Kitchen Areas: Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas after food preparation and serving. Diverse Dietary Needs: Accommodate ethnic minority and medical dietary requirements whenever practical. Qualifications and Skills: Training & Education: A catering qualification is advantageous.Basic Food Safety qualification.Previous experience in residential catering or a cafeteria setting. Experience: Ability to take sole responsibility for providing wholesome ‘home-cooking’ for approximately 45 people. Customer Orientation: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service.
