M and E Engineering Supervisor : GBP 55,000Location:Liverpool StreetSalary: GBP 55,000 + Plenty of OvertimeHours : Monday to Friday Days 8AM : 5PM One of the well knowncompanies in the FM and Maintenance industry is currently looking to recruit a key member of staff to add to a commercial contractin London Liverpool Street.The M and E Supervisor will have responsibility of the service delivery of the engineering contract, providing line management to a team of engineers whilst maintaining a proactive customer interface to ensure a high standard of both service delivery and customer care. The successful M and E Supervisor could be someone with experience of supervising a team of engineers in a maintenance / building services environment or looking for that step up into a M and E Supervisors role but have an electrical background themselves. The M and E Supervisor will be client facing, be competent managing sub:contractors and generating operation reports. The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a high profile commercial environment requiring critical and non:critical maintenance. Candidates must have a strong technical understanding and must also be able to demonstrate a proven track record in the commercial building services environment. Duties will include: : Close liaison and working relationship with the Client/Tenants : Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner : Act as the Duty Authorised Person (HV) whilst on duty : Compile quotations to client : Have a detailed understanding on BMS systems : Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work : Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system. : Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk : Identification of materials required to be ordered in a timely manner : Close liaison and working relationship with the Client/Tenants : Operate all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner : Act as the Duty Authorised Person (HV) whilst on duty : Compile quotations to client : Have a detailed understanding on BMS systems : Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work : Completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update the system. : Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk : Identification of materials required to be ordered in a timely manner Requirements: : City and Guilds Electrical OR Mechanical Qualifications : Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services : Health and Safety Training : Previous Supervisory/Management experience is required. : Experience working as an M and E supervisor, experienced in a commercial setting carrying out PPM's : Capable of supervising Reactive Repairs. : Experienced in Statutory and Mandatory Compliance Maintenance Records / Certification and uploading onto Service Systems. : NVQ Level 2:3 in Mechanical or Electrical (Mechanical Discipline e.g. Heating and Ventilating 6018) OR City and Guilds (Mechanical Discipline) OR Electrical equivalent : Worked on various manufacturers systems, skilled in a Mechanical and /or Electrical Discipline carrying out PPMs in line with SFG20 or equivalent, with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience. : Safe systems of Work Procedure : PTW, RAMS, etc. : Excellent client facing
