Senior Support Worker/Team LeaderSenior Support Worker/Team LeaderStart date - ASAP Location - Hammersmith Contract - Initially 3 monthsHours per week - 36 hours per week Rate of pay - £27.96ltd per hourAbout the RoleThe London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent support to vulnerable adults with a range of disabilities, including physical disability, autism, challenging behaviour, mental health, and dementia.Main Responsibilities Deliver excellent support to vulnerable adults with a range of disabilitiesWork in partnership with schools, colleges, and other service providers to deliver transition groups for residentsAssist residents in identifying progression opportunities and provide ongoing transition supportEstablish positive relationships with residents and support them to increase their confidence and realise their potentialExplore services such as independent living establishments and a curriculum for independent living skills Requirements Proven experience within a supervisor position or in a similar roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organisational and time-management skillsExperience working with vulnerable adults with disabilities How to ApplyIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader with a passion for supporting vulnerable adults with disabilities, then we would love to hear from you.
