We are currently partnering with an established and privately owned design and manufacturer of products into the Aviation industry sector to identify and recruit a QA Engineer with experience of working within an Aerospace Manufacturing environment.We are currently partnering with an established and privately owned design and manufacturer of products into the Aviation industry sector to identify and recruit a QA Engineer.This is an exciting time to be joining this established business, who have developed an extensive track record of developing and supporting a range of innovative products into the Commercial Aviation sector, including major aircraft manufacturers and operators world-wide.The successful candidate must be capable of thorough and conscientious work to deadlines and across multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities as business needs require. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Quality Manager to implement Quality Control procedures and drive process improvement initiativesWork across the business to ensure manufacturing processes and procedures are aligned with regulatory standards AS9100, RTCA DO-160, TSO’s, CAA & FAAEnsure all manufactured parts and products meet the above requirementsEnsure that key Quality documentation remains relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standardsRisk Assessment & Mitigation in line with changes applicable to industry standards and regulation to ensure continued complianceEnsure timely and thorough completion of Non-Conformance activities, including root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence Key / Essential Requirements: Educated to a minimum HND Level in a relevant Engineering disciplinePrevious experience in Quality Engineer & Quality Control within a commercial Aerospace manufacturing environmentBe conversant and knowledgeable with the legislative safety requirements for Airborne Equipment / ProductsKnowledge and understanding of CAA / FAA certifications & approvalsKnowledge of Technical Standard OrdersThe ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
