CNC Machinist for successful precision engineering company Wiltshire . up to £40,000 p.a. + benefitsCNC Machinist £33,000 to £40,000 p.a. + benefits – Calne, WiltshireCNC Engineer for successful company specialising in precision machined componentsThe RoleAs CNC Machinist you will operate CNC machinery using fanuc controls. You will be responsible for understanding the product dimensions and reading the blueprint. You will also be responsible for carrying out processes and procedures under the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Responsibilities include: Programming and setting CNC lathes using Fanuc controlsDetermining the dimensions of the componentsReading and interpreting customer drawingsSetting the machines according to the designWorking in collaboration with managementImplementing basic checks on all the CNC machineriesPerforming quality assurance tests on all the productsEnsuring the production is according to the specificationsWriting and verifying all the technical documents of CNC programs The CompanyOur Wiltshire based client specialises in precision machined components and has been doing for over 50 years. They are proud to offer the best possible customer satisfaction through many years of experience and combined knowledge of a variety of engineering practices. The PersonAs CNC Machinist, you will have proven work experience as a CNC Programmer and setter. A professional Computer Numerical Control certification will be an advantage. You will also have: Ability to read or interpret blueprintsAbility to manage time with good multitasking skills. Excellent knowledge of workplace safetyAbility to work in a team environment as well as independentlyOutstanding mathematical and analytical skillsExperience and training in Geometric Dimensioning and tolerance The role is 36 hours per week, Monday – Thursday working No FridaysThere is real potential for career progression within the company.
