We are on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Development Chef with an exceptionally strong background in pastry and baking. We are wanting to speak with candidates who are passionate about food, up to date with current trends and flavour combinations and who are driven to create fantastic recipes. Ideal Candidate Profile:- Strong pastry / bakery skills with a creative flair.- Excellent planning and communication skills.- Prior experience working in large volume, fresh food production is desirable.- Team player : able to work with the wider development team to create bespoke recipes and work to customer briefs.- Proven experience working in a fast:paced environment.- A willingness to learn and grow into the role as the business continues to grow.- Be able to drive : essential due to location, supplier meetings, client meetings etc. Role Responsibilities: - Work to existing recipes and create new recipes for the business, keeping up with current trends in the industry.- Work to specific customer briefs.- Recipe development for dish banks.- 360 Collaboration, seeing a project through start to finish. - Bring fresh ideas and innovation. - Work with the team to manage inventory, ordering and cost control.
