Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45, Friday 08:00 to 12:00. 37 HoursBenefits: Finish at 12:00 every FridayCompany Pension Life Assurance 4 x Salary Well established firm and a great place to workAre you a problem solver Do you have a good understanding of ISO 9001 QMS requirements Can you interpret engineering drawings Are you looking to join a secure, established company with a positive working environmentThen talk to us about this great opportunity to become our client’s next Quality InspectorAbout You: The Quality department in this company is busy and this role has been created due to business growth They need someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can interpret engineering drawings with a basic knowledge of welding inspection.You’ll have:Good understanding of ISO9001:2015 QMS requirements and customer focus. Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with good interpersonal skills.Computer literacy, proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.Self-motivated and able to prioritize and resolve competing priorities and workloads.Knowledge of and ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerancing.Experience using a range of measuring instruments.Basic knowledge of welding inspection.Able to adapt to the ever-changing technology and willingness to learn new skills. Hands-on approach to problem solving and attention to detail.Excellent team working skills.The Job:Perform dimensional and/or visual part inspection to engineering drawings, using gauges and other relevant inspection equipment.Perform material inspections.Control the inspection of all parts received from suppliers, utilising several manual and digital inspection measuring devices and equipment.Initiating and investigating non-conforming parts. Quarantine items, raising non-conformance reports and liaising with suppliers for corrective actions and countermeasures.Perform and verify First Article Inspection FAI data to AS9102 requirements.Perform product release and acceptance in the company ERP systemActive role in continuous improvements to our QMS.To find out more, please contact me – it would be great to hear from you.Westin Par values diversity and promotes equality.
