This position is a full time permanent role working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing a high standard of care to their patients.Key role and responsibilities for Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse Responsible for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Service including surgery, pre operative assessment and post-operative care.Responsible for all care for patients including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.Responsible for Admission and discharge of patients on theatre dayAdministering drugs in accordance to the NMC guidelinesPrepare all areas prior to any clinical activities including checking equipment is ready for useAssisting with stock control ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available Minimum requirements for Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse Experience within the private healthcare sector Minimum of 1 years post registration experience in a clinical or hospital setting Current NMC registration Our client is a leading provider in NHS eye patient services specialising in cataract surgery, YAG laser capsulotomy and AMD treatment with a focus on providing every patient with a 5 star service.What we offer for the successful Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse Competitive salary of £32,800 - £40,500£250 referral bonus£150 signing on bonus If you want to hear more about this Ophthalmic Scrub Nurse role please send us your CV by clicking 'apply now'
