You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers This is a spacious care home with purpose-built facilities making it the perfect setting for nursing, residential, dementia and respite care To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin As the Unit Manager your key responsibilities include: You will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral careYou will be the homes nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skillsYou will focus on residents with complex needs, so it’s vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and proceduresCare plan development and assessmentsLook after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Experience in a similar roleThe ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of careGood working knowledge of CQC standardsThe ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teamsGood clinical skillsPromote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £48,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 40 hours a week working through Day Shifts.
