Job Title: Cloud Services Project Manager Location: Remote EMEA Job Summary: We are looking for a Cloud Project Manager who is interested in shaping the future of Centric Software Cloud Operations. You will work closely with Centric customers and internal stakeholders to lead projects to successful completion. The project manager role will lead a number of projects including upgrades, migrations and transitions to the cloud. This role is responsible for defining the scope of the cloud projects and managing the assigned resources. This role will also manage communication with all stakeholders. This position will report to Senior Director of Cloud Services. Responsibilities: Lead public cloud new deployments, upgrades, migrations and transitions to the cloud. Conduct the project planning activities and manage the execution of strategic projects according to plan Responsible for the technical scope and due to your sufficient knowledge of cloud technology and experience in project management, you are able to act as a serious partner for the customer, client services and operations team Establish and implement technical project methodologies and processes within workstreams for Cloud platforms including functional, technical, and application whilst adhering to global standard Work with Cloud operations, Software development and Quality Assurance teams to resolve any business or technical issues affecting project delivery Work with cross functional departments to improve the project process for new customers or migration of existing customers Mange comprehensive project plans including risk and contingency plans Implement technical project methodologies and processes within work teams Establish a project plan, baseline the plan, manage schedules and resource load Monitors progression of the project against the project plan, and periodic report to internal functions or customers - all stakeholders on a regular basis Reviews deliverables prepared by delivery practitioners prior to customer submission, and maintain the overall document repository for the project Design migration strategies, taking into consideration clients business and technical roadmaps, data migration approaches, and hand-off activities required to cutover and normalize operations activities Support the Sale and Pre-sales teams proposal including presenting to customers when required Lead internal transformation and transition programs spanning multiple time zones Manage the communication and relationship with the project stakeholders throughout the project duration and act as the primary point of contact for the sponsor and project team Comfortable with driving multiple short and long-term complex projects, many with tight deadlines Comfortable with working with all levels of the customer’s organization, from C-suite down Communicate project status to clients, management, and partners as appropriate Ability to drive projects independently Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or directly related field 3+ years of experience with at least one public Cloud Provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP 3 to 5 years project management experience, with large enterprise IT projects (deployment or migration) Knowledge of cloud technology Experience with large and complex cloud environments Certifications in Project Management PMI, PMP a strong plus PRINCE or PRINCE2 Project Management certified also a plus Overall, 7 to 10 years of technology industry experience, primarily in service delivery or project management Shows initiative and ownership of tasks and responsibilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management and prioritization Self-motivated; ability to maintain excellence with minimum supervision Strong user knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and project management tools Personal Interactions Creative, flexible, and collaborative in approach to problem solving Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, at a variety of technical levels Ability to work effectively as part of the diverse team Adapt quickly to obstacles and changing demands and priorities Entrepreneurial and self-directed, demonstrated ability to innovate and bias toward action in fast-paced environments What we offer: Competitive salary and benefits A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities Opportunity to work remotely with a dedicated and motivated team A remote work environment built on collaboration, flexibility, and respect Varied and challenging work to help you grow your technical skillset #ds Centric Software provides equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, age, religion, protected veteran or disability status or genetic information.Powered by JazzHR
