If you have high academic standards, are motivated by student success, the creativity and passion to drive innovation, and want to work in a collaborative intercultural environment, you may be a good fit for our team.There will be up to 20 live teaching hours and up to 5 hours of asynchronous interaction and VLE development. ABOUT THE ROLE Ensure to implement the modules to the academic calendar and in module deadlines and requirements to ensure the best possible student outcomes and student experience. Produce a set of agreed documentation for each course and module including course outlines, module handbooks, schemes of work and teaching material. Review documentation regularly for accuracy and appropriateness. Ensure that all assessment for agreed modules in subject area are prepared in a timely fashion to agreed deadlines and are appropriate, fair, and secure. Support the Head of Subject to ensure all students on agreed modules receive effective assessment feedback. Support Head of Subject in liaising with External Examiners for subject area, providing information to External Examiner as required and responding to recommendations. Implement quality assurance procedures at module and teaching session level and contribute to the annual monitoring and review of courses. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students’ attendance, engagement and performance. ABOUT YOU A Bachelor's degree in relevant subject(Essential). A Master’s qualification (Desirable). Teaching qualification (Desirable). Fluent spoken and written English. Experience of teaching in Hospitality and Tourism in UK higher, or further education (Essential). Assessment marking experience at a minimum of level 4 (Essential) Experience of working with international students (Desirable) Competence in teaching and administrative IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, etc.) (Essential) Ability of working within a Virtual Learning Environment (Essential) ABOUT US Study Group is a leading international education provider that is dedicated and passionate about helping students around the world, creating a brighter future and reaching their full potential.
