Are you a skilled Health and Safety professional looking for a new challenge? syncreon part of the DP World company are currently recruiting for a QEHSManagerfor our site inLutterworth which will be moving to Hinckley. You will lead on all aspects of H+S for the site working effectively with the Operation and wider leadership team to implement robust controls and processes ensuring compliance with necessary legislation. About the Role How you will contribute : Manage the Health and Safety systems, deliver training and coach / lead the site teams on all aspects of Health and Safety: Investigate accidents and analyse data to drive improvements: Report site KPIs / metrics to the corporate team. Generate improvement action plans where gaps are identified.: Manage the Environmental management system. Coach / lead the management team.: Manage and analyse data from customers and internal sources as input for problem solving and communicate/report to appropriate personnel.: Interacts with staff within the location and within the Company and all customer and prospective customer representatives.: Directly supervises Quality functions and staff across all shifts and provides consistent direction of the company's quality plans.: Administer all projects and documentation relative to assigned processes (i.e. operator instructions, PFMEA's and process control plans).: Develop and design irreversible corrective actions for known problems. Use established problem:solving techniques to reduce process variation.: Manage quality processes and reports.: Champion Lean engineering goals. Includes being an aid in developing, implementing and maintaining a Lean culture within the organization using a hands:on approach in order to provide input on processes from a quality perspective.: Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Quality System. Reports to Management on effectiveness of the Quality System.: Generate, interpret, analyse, and communicate results using management tools, graphs, and reports; actively coach the organization concerning quality with tools and reports.: Provide input on document enhancement and retention; Maintain ISO documentation and controls, administer activities required to maintain ISO certification, and actively coach the organisation for maintaining ISO system.: Other duties as assigned Your Key Qualifications : NEBOSH general certificate as a minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred, but not essential.: Progressive previous experience performing professional level Health and safety / quality management duties; preferably in warehouse/logistics industry.: Additional education, training and/or work experience in area of specialization inherent to the position may be required.: Knowledge of principles and procedures used in logistics operations and practice.
