Our partner is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the mechanical, electrical, and software design aspects of a project function seamlessly and the system meets the customer needs. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Engineer: - Requirements Capture and management. - Functional and Physical Systems Architecture Design and Definition. - System Modelling. - Development of Engineering Management Plans Safety Management, Test Integration & Acceptance, Technical Risk Management. - Gathering of verification evidence for System Requirements. - Creation of Procurement Specifications for sub-systems and components. - Writing test specifications. - Conducting Design reviews. - Environmental Qualification Plans EMC, Temperature, Shock & Vibration. Key Skills & Experience Required for the Senior Systems Engineer: Essential - - A degree in Engineering or physical sciences. - Minimum of 5 years systems engineering experience in a defence engineering or similar company. - Proficient in the use of requirements management tools DOORS, Visure or R4J. - Work package management in JIRA. - Proficient in Report Writing. Desirable - - Technical Leadership of project teams with a significant level of responsibility for managing project risks and for delivering on time and on budget. - Experience in working closely with internal and external stakeholders. - Working in multi-disciplinary teams on projects with a high level of complexity. - Safety Management MIL-STD 882E, DEF-STAN 00-56, ISO 12100:2010. - Statutory Compliance CE Marking. - Camera Sensor Technology InfraRed and visible spectrum, DRI performance. - Fault-Tree and Failure Mode Analysis.
