Because of continued demand, this employer is actively recruiting a Mechanical Technician to permanently join their Leeds based facility. This position is purely Workshop based, however, the successful Mechanical Technician will be given the option to occasionally work in the field on customer premises. Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician will include: Working as part of a team that is responsible for the overhaul, maintenance and repair of heavy rotating equipment & machineryStripping/dismantling, inspecting, diagnosing faults and testing a range of rotating machinery including Transmissions For the Mechanical Technician position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess: Possess formal qualifications within a relevant discipline Apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.Previous experience working in an maintenance, assembly or building role, ideally focused on heavy rotating machinery pumps, transmissions, compressors, turbines, valves, diesel engines etc. In return, the Mechanical Technician will receive: Renumeration: Between £29,396.00 - £34,118.00 per annum + £2,800.00 yearly allowance when working on site/in the fieldHoliday Entitlement: 34 per annum 26 free choice + public holidaysOptional private healthcare BUPA and Simply Health schemeMatched pension contribution To apply for the Mechanical Technician position, please click “Apply Now” and attach an updated version of your CV.
