Sub Contract ManagerBilston, West Midlands GBP 35,000 : GBP 40,000 We are currently seeking a Sub ContractManager to join a leading manufacturer of bespoke fasteners. The Sub Contract Managerwill be directly responsible foroverseeing the purchasing and receipt of subcontracted services such as plating, heat treatment, testing, and machining. Responsibilities: : Monitor and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of services from sub:contractors : Build close relationships with Operations Manager, Production Planning Team and Dispatch/Logistics team. : Coordinate with suppliers to communicate timelines and requirements for each order : Track and report on the status of all orders in progress : Resolve any issues or delays in the delivery of services : Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure accurate ordering and forecasting : Coordinate with the production team to schedule services in alignment with production needs : Sourcing and negotiating contracts with external suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of services, and maintaining quality standards : Continuously improve and streamline the expediting process to increase efficiency Qualifications: : Experience of working in a manufacturing environment : Strong analytical and problem:solving skills : Excellent communication and negotiation skills : Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously : Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials preferred If you are a detail:oriented and proactive individual with a passion for ensuring timely delivery of services, we encourage you for the Sub Contract Managerposition.
