About the Role We are looking for Stock Condition Surveyors to join our team in Worcestershire. As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you will be joining a team responsible for the delivery of services, including Stock Condition Surveys and full Building Condition Surveys along with working with our Service Level Agreement team. We have full and part:time positions to join our small successful Project Management team offering support to schools in and around Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, and Shropshire. Key Responsibilities: As a Stock Condition Surveyor, youll play a vital role in managing projects from inception to completion. This includes liaising with clients, predominantly local schools, to understand project requirements and overseeing all aspects of the work. Qualifications and Skills: To excel in this role, youll need: * A minimum of 3 years experience in a Stock Condition Surveyor role, preferably within the school environment* HNC in Surveying or related discipline, or equivalent level of knowledge acquired from the on:the:job training or experience* In depth knowledge of building condition issues and where they can be found in school buildings and other structures, what are their likely causes and what remedial works are required (building pathology)* Driving Licence and use of own vehicle is required (mileage paid at competitive rate)* Ability to work under own initiative and mange own workload* Good IT skills and interpersonal skills with a client focused approach* Ability to provide support and guidance on condition matters to clients* A knowledge of the risks associated with Asbestos:Containing Materials (ACMs) and where they may be found in schools Benefits: In return for your expertise, we offer: * Competitive salary circa A GBP 25,000 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience), annual performance bonus and the opportunity to obtain additional performance related pay increments* 5 weeks pro rata Annual Leave plus bank holidays* 5 pension contribution* Access to an interest free loan of up to A GBP 1,000* Paid professional membership* Flexible work hours to suit the right candidate* Friendly and supportive small company working environment* As well as a whole host of other benefits including; free immunisation, eye tests, etc. Other Job Details: * Job Type: Full or part:time* Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part time considered)* Job Location: Field/home based : Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, and Shropshire About Us We are a small company with a large heart catering and supporting local schools in maintaining, managing, and developing their sites.
