Priesty Fields Care Home £12.50 per hour 28.5 hours per week 7:30am – 5:30pm, 3 days per week on a rota basis Having just taken new ownership of this beautiful home, Sandstone Care Group are excited to develop this setting to its full potential, starting with building an exceptional team of passionate and skilled individuals. Our dedicated team provides residential, nursing, respite and tailored professional care services to the broader community, with the expertise to meet the most intricate individual needs. As a cook at our home, your role may involve: Delivering the highest possible culinary standards to residents by providing nutritious, well-balanced and appetising meals from a clean, safe and hygienic environment Supporting with controlling the catering budget Submitting food orders Managing/supporting with all the day to day aspects of the catering operation Compliance with quality and safety standards This role sits below the 2nd Chef and Head Chef Sandstone employees enjoy a range of benefits: Free uniform. What are we looking for? Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment. A passion for producing fresh, home cooked food, from scratch to the highest standards. Recipe costing skills and food budgeting experience. Friendly and enthusiastic disposition, ability to integrate well with others. Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads.
