Do you have test engineer experience, and are you seeking a new contract in Crewe? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company find a full:time Electrical Test Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of A GBP 31.00 per hour. This contract is for 12 months and is outside IR35. This role will require being on site in Crewe 3 days per week. As an Electrical Test Engineer you will be responsible for developing electrical test sequences within PRODIS Automation environment based on the Java scripting platform. You will also manage and update the electrical test system (UPS) for the inclusion of the listed features and release the tool to production. In your first few weeks in this Electrical Test Engineer role, you can expect to: * Analyse the vehicle feature changes required to be implemented into the electrical test system and the impacted modules/ECUs by the change* Prepare a test plan detailing the test sequence, Diagnostic services, I/O and self:test routines, timeouts, and test pass criteria* Authorise test sequences and diagnostic data into software as per the test plan and authoring guidelines* Debug the implemented code and the underlying interfaces for verification of developed test sequences prior to test release. for this Electrical Test Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: * Experience in software development with Java programming language frameworks* Experience in authoring test sequences and diagnostic data into software as per the test plan and authoring guidelines* Knowledge of EOL test sequence, diagnostic services, I/O and self:test routines, timeouts, etc* Experience validating the test sequence on the test rig and vehicle prior to the release of the tool to production* Good understanding of vehicle functionalities and connectivity. for this position Apply to we cannot progress candidates who require sponsorship to work in the UK.
