Field Service Engineer (Automated Gates) Bolney, West Sussex A GBP 30,000 to A GBP 40,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Overtime + Call Out Allowance + Company Van + Benefits Package This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company who repair, service, install and upgrade automated gates, barriers, bollards and fencing. The company provide the opportunity to earn a high OTE with uncapped overtime readily available. The successful Field Service Engineer will have experience of automated gates. You will have previous experience of fault diagnosis, repair and installation work. The Field Service Engineer role is varied and mainly involves on:site work. There is also some reconditioning work undertaken at the companys workshop. Day to day tasks will usually include reactive breakdowns, routine maintenance, quoted works, and safety upgrades. The work will routinely be both mechanical and electrical. The company have built an excellent reputation for the quality of their work and service, as a result they have overwhelming demand and are recruiting due to expansion. The Field Service Engineer Role: * Carrying out regular servicing of automated products and reconditioning equipment when required by customers, either on site or at the clients workshop.* Installation of new gates, barriers, bollards and fencing including groundworks and labouring.* Installation of automated products to existing gates.* Installation of Entry Systems: i.e. intercoms and card readers.* Fault Finding on Site : Emergency Response Call outs.* Carrying out onsite welding and repairs.* Making up control boards ready for installation.* Organising and loading onto vehicle/trailer materials that are required for the days work.* Completing Engineers Report Sheets.* General workshop duties when required including cleaning, tidying, putting stock deliveries away and re:stocking the vehicle.* General upkeep of company van and advising the office of mileage/problems to enable servicing/repairs to the vehicle to be arranged.* Daily completion of a time sheet which will be handed to the office once per month.* Undertaking of supplier training courses such as Health and Safety. The Successful Field Service Engineer: * Experience of working on Automated Gate Systems.* You will have previous experience of fault diagnosis, repair, service upgrades and installation work.* Both mechanical and electrical knowledge.
