4Recruitment Services are seeking a Social Care Lawyer Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive that specialises in Adult Social Care.The role is to join a busy team providing advice and representation to a large Local Authority.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Advise and representation on all aspects of adult social care including court of protection, deprivation of liberty safeguards, Care Act advice and Mental Health Act adviceConduct of legal proceedings before the courts and tribunalsAdvocacy, advice and legal drafting as required and as a necessary part of the conduct of legal proceedings before the courts and tribunalsRepresentation at and advice to committees, boards, meetings, members and officers and outside bodies as requiredTo prepare and deliver training to council personal as requiredTo participate in the office hours duty advice rota and the out of hours duty rota.Provide legal advice and support to enable the local authority to fulfil its Statutory and strategic functionsWork together with Legal Services management in the development of efficient and effective client/customer relationshipsInterpret and apply new and existing legislation and policiesESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:Recognised Legal qualification solicitor, barrister or legal executiveExtensive technical knowledge in a specialist area.Analytical abilities and high levels of literacy and numeracy.Project management or appropriate management experience in a complex technical environment.Legal systems and process knowledge, plus other relevant IT skills including word, excel, PowerPoint or equivalents and other systems.Evidence of continuing professional and managerial development.What we offer:24 hour one on one specialist consultant based within your geographical area4Recruitment Services Employee Benefits ProgrammeOur own dedicated payroll support ensuring you get the full benefits of your paymentRecruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.To discuss this vacancy in further detail or any other vacancies , please contact our Team on 0800 988 6307 or email XXXX@4recruitmentservices.com.
