About This Position  It is an exciting time. As Vistair and Comply365 embark on a systems and processes integration and with ambitious growth plans, we are seeking to expand the capacity in the finance team to support this exciting growth. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-growing private equity-backed SaaS tech company with continuously evolving needs. Please note this position reports to the Head of Accounting who is based in the US, with a 7 hour time difference. Therefore, you will be expected to work flexibly to accommodate this. We are seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant who will: Drive impactful financial analysis: Ownership of the preparation of timely and accurate management accounts for a tech business which inform strategic decisions across our growing global organisation and which comply with accounting standards. Become a trusted financial partner: Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure analysis is based on an understanding of the business and to translate financial data to help department leads make informed decisions. Bridge the international gap: Work closely with both UK and US finance teams to support seamless group reporting and navigate international complexities, including the maintenance of intercompany detail and reconciliations. Contribute to continuous improvement: Help refine financial systems and processes, leveraging your expertise to optimise efficiency and accuracy and improve financial control. Be totally reliable in payroll oversight: Collaborate with the team and payroll providers to ensure smooth and accurate processing and filing for UK and Australian employees. Ensure compliance: Ensure accurate and timely processing of VAT and other statutory tax filings, adhering to all relevant regulations and deadlines. Bridge the external advisor gap: Partner with outsourced accountants, auditors, and tax advisors around the world to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting. Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up to date with relevant accounting and payroll standards, legislation, and best practice. Qualifications and key competencies: Qualified accountant (e.g.CIMA,AAT,ACCA) with at least5years of relevant experience. Previous experience in a software environment is a plus. Reliability and integrity, with a commitment to identifying and implementing improvements. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with analytical and problem-solving skills. Interest in emerging finance technologies and a desire to learn. Proven ability to communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software. Familiarity with Netsuite is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commercial awareness and understanding of the business environment with an international outlook. US GAAP experience is not necessary but would be a benefit.
