We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Westminster to assist with the appointment of a Homeless Prevention Coordinator , on a 2- month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £250.00 - £316.50 per Day Responsibilities: The post holder will be the lead for rough sleeping and homelessness accommodation and services delivered by providers and commissioners. Provide strategic leadership within the Housing portfolio, contributing proactively to the collective leadership of the council, working collaboratively with Members, services, partners and stakeholders to deliver the councils objectives and priorities. Lead by example in modelling and embedding the councils values and behaviours to help build a sustainable highly effective organisation and develop our reputation as a successful council delivering great value for its residents. Provide outstanding leadership and direction to the service, driving service transformation and ensuring excellent joint working with Members and other stakeholders. Lead, deliver and oversee planned strategic projects and programmes of change that contribute to the effective delivery of agreed outcomes across the service. Qualifications: Evidence of continued professional, managerial and personal development Substantial experience, evidenced by a track record of success, leading and developing a significant organisational function or service in a large multi-disciplined organisation with comparable scope, budgets and resources. Project and Programme management experience within a large service organisation. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
