Why Youll Love This Role as a Statutory Accountant: Challenging Responsibilities: Take charge of consolidating three distinct business units, ensuring compliance with US GAAP to FRS102 adjustments, and preparing comprehensive statutory accounts. Professional Growth: Enhance your expertise in financial reporting by navigating complex GAAP differences and applying your skills to a diverse range of tasks. Collaborative Environment: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, supporting the external audit process, and fostering strong relationships with local teams. What Were Looking for in the Statutory Accountant : Q ualifications: BA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE qualification with a solid foundation in financial accounting principles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and experience with offline consolidations are essential, alongside a clear understanding of GAAP differences and their application. Experience: Previous exposure to consolidations at a group or cross:site level, ideally within a A GBP 200M+ business environment. Personal Attributes: Bring your strong organisational skills, ability to thrive under pressure, and analytical mindset to the table.
