Description:

We are looking for a Sales Support Executive to provide exceptional admin support across our Commercial team including; New Business and Customer Relationship teams. This is a new role for the business and will provide an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the sales process for a tech company. The role will include direct communication with our customers, so previous experience of dealing with external customers is essential. The role will involve providing administrative support in all aspects of account management and new business sales for customers in the UK and Internationally. Tasks will be varied but will include; sending quotes, following up on the status of quotes and speaking with internal teams to request timely information, preparing documentation or presentations, along with market research as part of the bid process. This will be a busy role, where priorities can change regularly, so the ability to adapt to change will be required. We are keen to support the successful candidate as they develop their knowledge and experience and there will be opportunities to progress into areas such as Customer Relationship or New Business Sales Management. This role will be office-based - the successful applicant will therefore need to live within reasonable proximity to our office in Cardiff. The role: Ensuring the Commercial team is as efficient as possible, through timely accurate administrative support which enables the team to focus on their core activities of meeting customers or prospects to facilitate growth potential. Providing day to day support to the Commercial team helping to move growth opportunities through the sales pipeline. Mange a variety of administrative task to help the team grow or nurture customers and prospects; Researching the customer or prospect and arranging first meetings. Preparing information required for customer meetings such as demo’s, agenda’s, PowerPoint presentations etc. Completing follow-up notes and actions from visits or meetings with existing or potential customers. Being proactive with outbound calling to prospects. Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally ensuring that internal database is updated and accurate. Helping to co-ordinate events or hospitality for customers or prospects. Developing an understanding of the product range, how be able to demo high level features and benefits. Supporting the CX team to ensure customer relationships are maintained strongly, by responding promptly to any questions or tasks. Assisting with building quality presentations as part of the CX business development or account growth process. About You/What we value: Experience of working in a sales support/sales administration/account management/sales co-ordinator role for a tech organisation. Excellent IT skills with MS Office is essential. Experience with CRM/Sales tools is highly desirable. A good commercial awareness. An understanding of sales and workflow processes. The ability to adapt and to self-prioritise tasks. Excellent attention to detail. A desire to progress into a role with a sales focus. Knowledge or experience of working in the Travel industry is beneficial. Package and benefits: A competitive salary, based on experience. Flexible hours of work.
