The Roofer trades person is to carry out building repairs, maintenance and renewals ranging from emergency and other routine reactive repairs on numerous sites daily to single site programmed repairs and refurbishment work in occupied and void housing properties and other premises in accordance with best trade practice and to current standards and regulations.Roofer Location: East London Pay Rate: £23.17 Per Hour Type: Temporary with Company Vehicle The Roofer trades person is to carry out building repairs, maintenance and renewals ranging from emergency and other routine reactive repairs on numerous sites daily to single site programmed repairs and refurbishment work in occupied and void housing properties and other premises in accordance with best trade practice and to current standards and regulations.The employee must carry out works to a consistently high standard of quality and customer satisfaction and complete works ‘Right First Time’.As a Multi-Trader Roofer you are responsible for: To carry out roofing repairs to our propertiesDelivery of General Building / Roofing maintenance repairs / gutters / fascias / minor groundworks / minor brickworkPotential of working on flat or pith roofsComplete multi skilled maintenance and repair workAs well as being capable of additional types of work with your skill setUndertaking day to day response maintenance repairsPlumbing repairsLeak tracingLock changes and Door and Window Replacements. Candidate requirements: Social housing experience minimum 3 years’ experienceMinimum Level 2 /3 NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in Roofing, Carpentry, Construction skills, Plumbing or in similar tradesMinimum 5 years experience in roofing with the addition of 3 years minimum experience in at least one other trade listed above Please contact Ossai Newton for more information on 01772 208 967 or email your CV to XXXX@servicecare.org.uk
