My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Birmingham and commutable from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Solihull and Tamworth. They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Turning Programmer to join their team. The Role: CNC Turning Programmer- Lead role looking after area of 2 Mazak machines- Set, operate and program CNC Mazak Turning Machines- Online program editing and programming from scratch- Adjusting offsets and making adjustments within programs- Working on Mazatrol-based controls - Working from drawings- Quality control of components- Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc- Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate- Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Turner Programmer- Experience of Setting, Operating and Programming CNC Mazak Turners- CNC Turner on Mazatrol controls- CNC Programming experience essential- Experience with Precision Engineering and working to tight tolerances- Experience in the Aerospace or Motorsport industry is desirable- Experience working from engineering drawings- Able to quality check own parts- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved- Motivated and excellent team player The Package: CNC Turner Programmer- Starting rate up to £19 per hour dependent on experience- Afternoon shifts are Mon Thurs, 08:00-17:00 Friday - 08:00-13:00- Pension- 31 Days Holidays - Progression opportunities - potential to train apprentices in the future Interested To apply for this CNC Turning Programmer position, here are your two options:1.
