The hiring manager is preferably looking for someone from the Defence, Automotive or Off:Highway industry and has experience with Engines. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day:to:day operation of the production teams, ensuring goods are produced efficiently, effectively and to a consistently high quality. To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: * Generate production plans in support of internal and external stakeholder targets* Manage site product core holdings and component stocks in line with business needs and objectives* Be responsible for the smooth running of the warranty function* Assume line management responsibility for the operations team, including production planning* Provide clear and concise leadership and support to the Operations Management team. for this Operations Manager role, you will need relevant experience in a similar role. You will also require the following: * Experience from the Automotive or Defence sector* Experience managing the selection, procurement and ongoing maintenance of equipment* The ability to ensure that all company procedures are adhered to, including health and safety, quality and standard operating procedures* Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide daily feedback to operations teams and business leadership teams.
