Job Details: Salary Range: GBP 25,628 : GBP 28,326 per annumWork Location: Unit 26 Mitchell Close, FarehamHours per week: 37Contract type: Temporary for 12 monthsClosing date: 30 April 2024 The Role: A vacancy has arisen for aEquipment Installation Technicianbased in Fareham. As part of Hampshire Equipment Services, we provide county wide support to people with disabilities in their own homes. We manage a busy and varied workload that includes the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of minor aids and adaptations to ensure that service users can live at home independently. You will have experience and knowledge of operating small workshop machinery, power tools with carpentry experience. Youll be involved in the installation of grab rails, stair rails, external rails and shower seats etc and the design, construction and fitting of ramps, steps, bed and chair raises. This position involves visiting service users in their homes and your practical and communication skills will be a vital part of the role. Tools and a Hampshire County Council vehicle will be provided. You will receive training and support and will be issued with a uniform and full PPE.
