We pride ourselves on our dedication to fostering an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health SEMH requirements, both in and out of the classroom.Assist in the planning and implementation of individualized education plans IEPs and behavior management strategies.Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCO to create inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of all students.Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and academic progress.Support students in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and self-esteem.Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Requirements: Previous experience working with young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of young people.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic school environment.Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training in SEMH support.Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
