Role : Mechanical Design Team Leader Type : Permanent Location : Beccles Salary : GBP 45,000 : GBP 55,000, dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures engineering equipment and machinery, with them looking to take on a Mechanical Design Team Leader, on a permanent basis, in the Beccles area. The Mechanical Design Team Leader will ideally have the following attributes: : Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar : Industry experience working as a Mechanical Team Leader, Manager, Senior Mechanical Design Engineer : Previous experience of leading a team of 5 or more Engineers would be desirable : Having knowledge of 3D CAD : SolidWorks ideally, but other software may also be considered : Good organisational skills are required and good time management too : The ability to use Microsoft Office programmes : Excellent communication skills both verbal and written The Mechanical Design Team Leader role will involve: : Leading a team of Mechanical Design Engineers : Working on a range of company projects : Producing mechanical engineering solutions and checking designs from the other Mechanical Design Engineers : working with SolidWorks : Taking projects from concept to completion : Working closely with other engineering colleagues : Being flexible to travel to customers sites at commissioning stage occasionally If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
