7.5T/Van Driver Required

AFG Dorset. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, customer orientated person who enjoys driving to join our happy, friendly and professional team.We are based near Wimborne and have a wide range of customers and our work can be delivering kitchens locally or Industrial washing machines nationally or a house move or resin sculptures to an event, as said a wide range of customers means a wide variety of work so there isn't the monotony of other driving roles.This particular role would be to drive either our 7.5t truck or one of our 3.5t vans, experience with tail lifts, pallet trucks and sack trucks and the ability to load and unload safely is very important and in order to drive the 7.5t you will need the C1 category on your driving licence and also your up to date Driver CPC card.Our working day is generally 8-10 hours between 6am and 6pm but there can be earlier starts and later finishes depending on the work, also there are occasional nights away but these are in a hotel and not the cab and these are known in advance.We will introduce you to what we do and who we do it for so you won't just be thrown in at the deep end and we also pride ourselves in driving correctly, in fact we do everything to the best of our ability so we don`t rush our deliveries or throw things in the vehicle and then drive like we have stolen it! No stereotypical van drivers here! We quite simply look after our customers, their customers and what we are carrying around for them and that way they keep using us.This is a full time employed role and we offer starting rates of £12 p/h (van) and £14 p/h (7.5t) rising to £13 and £15 after a three month training/trial period, we offer 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays and the option of joining our NEST pension scheme.We are a small and friendly company who support each other and I as the owner am one of the drivers also and it`s a great place to work, I can say that because they tell me, so if this sounds like it could be the job for you then please apply by email with a brief introduction, tell me a bit about you basically and a CV to give me an idea of what you are doing and have done, also give me a little time to respond as we are busy and I am part of the team too!
