HR GENERALIST / HR ADVISOR : SWILLINGTON / LEEDS : A GBP 35,000 : A GBP 38,000 BASIC SALARY (SUBJECT TO EXPERIENCE) + EXCELLENT BENEFITS Due to continued success, we are working with a fantastic manufacturing company based near Leeds with a global presence. A market leader in their industry, year on year they have experienced continual growth since they were established in 1990. We are looking to recruit an experienced HR Professional to join their team. Dealing with all aspects of HR including the recruitment across several sites and general HR issues that may arise. This is a very busy role which requires previous experience, ability to multi task and requires excellent organisation skills. This is a fixed term contract for 18 months. The role will require some travel to their site in Crewe to meet with the HR team. COMPANY BACKGROUND Our client is market leading independent manufacturing company with sites throughout the UK and overseas. HR GENERALIST / HR ADVISOR JOB PURPOSE To provide timely and accurate HR support for 2 sites in the UK and some HR Admin support for their site based in Germany. To ensure the accurate processing of weekly and monthly payroll. In addition, you will also provide administration for all HR activity. They are an ambitious team and looking for someone with fresh ideas and a passion for driving improvement across all HR activity, so a great development opportunity. This is a stand:alone role and you will have full autonomy and must have the confidence and experience to deal with HR related issues immediately. HR GENERALIST / HR ADVISOR DUTIES * Lead recruitment drives including developing appropriate resourcing strategies to ensure time to fill is achieved* Lead Interviews* Develop selection processes* Work closely with operational managers to determine labour/headcount* Maintain an appropriate pipeline of resource to meet demand* Work with HR Team (based at different site) to continually review recruitment processes* Support the creation of recruitment and employer branding material to assist in creating a better company reach* Support the development of the CORE HT recruitment system to assist in MI reporting* Coach and develop managers in the application of people policies* Develop relationships with suppliers and manage PSLs* Provide routine advice to all managers and colleagues to ensure everyone is aware of their responsibilities* Manage and conduct routine investigations* Manage and conduct disciplinary and grievance meetings* Support the development of the UK Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure the relevant stakeholders are trained to implement the system.* Design and deliver skills workshops to colleagues and support recommendations on initiatives to support and drive the ED and I agenda* Work on additional projects* Identify and implement changes in processes and procedures HR GENERALIST / HR ADVISOR REQUIREMENTS * The successful HR Advisor / HR Generalist will have similar experience and ideally CIPD qualified* Ideally a relevant qualification / Degree* Extensive experience resourcing and recruiting ideally (but not essential) within a manufacturing environment* Experienced leading the planning and design of assessment activities and interviews for both factory and office roles* Continually manage a pipeline of potential talent* Experienced dealing with disciplinary and grievances with full autonomy* Previously managed recruitment campaigns at all levels* Able to create and manage job adverts* Proven experience as HR Advisor/generalist* Able to work in a fast moving, busy environment* Able to multi:task and respond to department needs quickly* Team orientated HR GENERALIST PACKAGE * Working Monday to Thursday 8am:5pm and Friday 8am:4pm*
