The Woodlands, TX is also acceptable.** ***This position will be filled as a Financial Analyst III, Leador Sr Lead depending on the candidates qualifications and experience*** Job Summary/Purpose Support Entergy's Finance organization by providing expert financial advice and information across all Operations (non:Power Delivery) and it's support groups. Provide analytical support, assisting with the financial forecast, reporting, and controls, as well as highlighting key issues and identifying items that may impact profitability. Foster a continuous improvement environment amongst business partners and peers. Job Duties/Responsibilities: :Manage the day:to:day financial oversight of Entergy's Operation support groups (Ops Excellence, Training and Incident Response).:Employ strong analytical skills to manipulate large, unstructured datasets to support ad hoc analysis and various presentations both at the Business Unit and OCE level.:Ensure all financial activity at the Function level contains accurate information and is executed timely by monitoring, maintaining, and completing key financial functions.:Communicate with subject matter experts across the company to better understand the risk of certain projects and/or investments. Communicate with other departments to gather information about Entergy's businesses and transactions.:Collaborate with leadership to develop financial forecasts to align with Operational requirements and Entergy's regulatory objectives.:Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks and execute deliverables in a timely and accurate fashion, while also responding to ad hoc request.:Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance across all Operation groups non:Power Delivery by developing KPI's and key tools to measure performance.:Possess strong desire and willingness to support Functional VP's and their lead teams beyond core responsibilities. Minimum Requirements Minimum education required of the position : Financial Analyst III: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineeringor equivalent work experience.:Financial Analyst Lead: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics,Engineering or related fieldORin lieu of a degree 9+years of business experience in banking, finance, project development or related fields is required.:Financial Analyst Sr Lead: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics,Engineering or related field and ORin lieu of a degree 10+years of business experience in banking, finance, project development or related fields is required. :MBA is a plus Minimum experience required of the position : Financial Analyst III:4 plus years of business experience in banking, finance, project development or related fields.:Financial Analyst Lead:5 plusyears of business experience in banking, finance, project development or related fields:Financial Analyst Sr Lead: 6 plus years of business experience in banking, finance, project development or related fields Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position: :Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel. :Knowledge and experience in working with Financial Reporting Software. :Ability to work with minimal supervision or within a team environment. :Ability to analyze problems and create solutions. :Knowledge of financial theory and valuation. :Ability to understand and solve complex financial transactions. :Ability to prioritize and handle multiple time sensitive projects effectively. :Strong verbal and written communications skills.
