Assistant Chef Sanctuary House, Worcester GBP 12.01 per hour 37.5 hours per week : Monday to Friday Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Chef at Sanctuary House, Worcester. The role of Assistant Chef will include: :Assisting with the planning and creation of nutritionally balanced meals for our employees:Promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards:Carrying out risk assessments and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard:Assisting with the supervision and development of staff:Maintain kitchen stock, equipment, and resources within budget:Follow procedures in relation to cash handling and till operations ensuring compliance with the Group's policy Skills and experiences: :Previous experience of working in a catering environment:A valid food hygiene certificate is essential:NVQ2 in Hospitality and Catering:Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures:Excellent cooking skills with an understanding of produce and ingredients and use of catering machinery:Good interpersonal and customer care skills:Some knowledge of dietary requirements and the impact of food types on medication Are you ready to be your best?
