Room for progression is available within this company for the rightWe welcome applications from MIG Welder/Fabricator, Experienced fabricators, MIG Welders or people with experience working on trailers, vehicle bodies, HGV Bodies or Van bodiesResponsibilities of the MIG Welder/Fabricator: MIG Welding components and parts to vehicle bodiesFabrication of materials such as Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, aluminium and plasticsWork on Luton Vans, Box Vans, Tippers, Dropsiders, Curtain Siders and pickupsVehicles up to 18tMeasure up, mark up and cut raw material to exact sizeFollow fabrication drawings accuratelyWork at an efficient pace What we need from you for the MIG Welder/Fabricator role; Previous experience or relevant industry experience of installing components using assembly instructions within a workshop environment.The ability to read and understand build instructionsProven ability to work using own initiativeAbility to communicate well with other team membersDemonstrate commitment, reliability and good time-keeping What you get from the MIG Welder/Fabricator role: Permanent position,Competitive rates of pay,31 days holiday per year inclusive of Bank Holidays, rising to 33 on celebration of 5 years’ service,Colleague Auto-enrolment Pension Scheme with employer contribution,Discounted Healthcare scheme,Life Assurance.
