We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of an Recruitment Support Officer, on a 3 - month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £13.47 per hour PAYE Responsibilities: To work collaboratively with a network of Recruitment Officers across Wales, as part of Foster Wales Cardiff, in order to support collaboration, maximise opportunities and share good practice and resources. To maintain and keep up to date all case records, spreadsheets and systems for recording information in relation to fostering enquiries and assessments. To complete all Foster Wales Cardiff Key Performance Indicators in relation to fostering recruitment To raise awareness of fostering locally including coordinating and attending local recruitment events and activities in the community. To facilitate outreach to local businesses to promote Foster Wales Cardiff and support them to become Fostering Friendly organisations. To support the wider fostering services in relation to foster carer retention, including regular retention events and social activities. Qualification: A professional qualification relevant to social work e.g. health and social care, education youth work, childcare etc Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
