Reliability Engineer£50,000West LondonMon-Fri Days Synergi are recruiting for a full-time Reliability Engineer to join a food manufacturing business based in West London! The focus of the role is very much based on increasing current line OEE levels and implementing line improvements.This is a Day shift role typically working 4 days Monday to Friday - though you may need to be flexible about this to accommodate production needs on occasion! As a Reliability Engineer, the role requires you to : Get into the nitty-gritty of reoccurring issues, removing current roadblocks in increasing machine availability Undertake PPMs, Preventative, Predictive and Corrective maintenance Support any installations of new machinery and trials Reduce line changeover times Assist the Production Engineers in breakdowns if their workload exceeds their capacity Support Project Engineers on installation, final execution, ramp up and hand over to production Write one-page instructions online to recover from breakdowns and lessons learned Help in sourcing parts from suppliers Support training and mentoring of new hires and apprentices You will be: Ideally experienced with FMCG/Food manufacturing environments Well-versed in mechanical & electrical systems and diagrams, fault finding, and production machinery Analytically-minded with a drive to improve processes and outcomes Able to work effectively alone and within the Engineering Maintenance team Comfortable building good communication with Operations and the Maintenance Planner to assist the wider Engineering team Familiar with Health & Safety and Quality systems to a very high standard Confident with written and verbal communication in English and have high numeracy skills Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) What's in it for you?
