Company Name: Workflow Doctor Job Title: Software Developer Roles and Responsibilities: This is predominantly a development and solution delivery role. The role: Innovation, both internally and on client projects, owning projects and client relationships are key to the role. All of our client systems contain some element of custom integrations written in-house using C#/.NET. You are expected to be a competent software developer familiar with using Visual Studio/VS Code to write and debug small applications. We will ensure that you are brought up to speed quickly with our Azure DevOps environment, tools and best practices. You will consume data from, and provide data to, third-party systems. We work with a variety of RESTful APIs, databases (typically MS SQL) and text formats (CSV, XML, JSON). We have existing frameworks to assist data ETL but occasionally you may be required to develop a bespoke API, console application, windows service or .NET libraries. You will receive specific ABBYY product training and certification as part of our top-tier partner status. We leverage AWS and DevOps technologies and we encourage training and certification in these areas. Essential Experience and Skills: *List in order of importance Aptitude and attitude - someone who thinks for themselves, brings ideas to the table, who is confident and questions things, thinks about solutions to problems C# (at least a year) .NET Core - (at least a year - would consider less) Git Worked for a smaller business (not just at Tata, one of the large consultancy firms) Desired Experience and Skills: Familiarity with test driven development; application deployment; Windows server management basics. Relational database (usually MS SQL) concepts and interaction, use of SQL language for queries and transformation of data is essential. Consuming data from RESTful API?s; HTTP debugging (e.g. Fiddler/Postman) Experience working in a customer facing environment. Familiarity with AWS Cloud; building hybrid applications that leverage cloud technologies such as SQS, Step/Lambda functions, Kubernetes, Elastic Search. Integrating SaaS components into an overall workflow. Comfortable building RESTful API?s. NoSQL / document database familiarity, especially AWS DocumentDB / MongoDb. Basic web development including Angular / Blazor for creation and maintenance of simple reports/dashboards/data portals. Exposure to intelligent document processing / data capture technologies such as ABBYY FlexiCapture, ABBYY Vantage, AWS Textract, Google Vision and general OCR. Exposure to document management concepts and technologies. Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation [RPA] such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism. Have hands-on experience working with event driven architectures such as SQS, Kafka or RabbitMQ. Desired Years of Experience: 3 - 7 Other:
