They are well known for investing significantly into their staff - this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new skills.Key points about our client:Their platform offers over 50 customisable educational game templates. All games are designed in collaboration with teachers and tested with students in the classroom.They make it simple for educators to create and publish educational games, personalised for their students. The games can be used in the classroom or students can access them remotely for home learning.They are helping hundreds of thousands of students each week.They are looking to make a full time hire for a long term position.Location: Permanent Remote Work from Home in IndiaExperience: 4 years +Shift Timings: 12pm - 9:30pm (Summer), 1pm - 10:30pm (Winter)Role and responsibilitiesCoding HTML5 games using JavaScript (using multiple libraries such as Create JS), HTML and CSSIntegrating Games into our authoring platform using PHPMaintaining and updating the authoring platform (including our transition to AWS)Personal Project Management and integrating with our design team and customer teamsReporting to Managing Director planning future development and platform maintenanceRequired skills and experienceHTML, 3 yearsHTML5JavaScript, 3 yearsJavaScript Libraries for interactive games, 1 yearPHP, 3 yearsMust have experience as an individual contributor.Must have experience running projects and self managing.Desired skills and experienceWe need someone who has previously been involved in the development of HTML5 interactive games. A background in e-learning would be beneficial. Ideally the candidate will have a portfolio of previously built interactive projects that meet similar challenges to those delivered in our suite of games.
