Role Summary: At DWS “Our strategy is to be the investment partner of choice” within Asset Management. We are looking for a Networks Project Manager to join our team in London and be part of an exciting journey where we are planning to design and implement a full technology and services separation from Deutsche Bank to an DWS owned and managed technology platform which is modern, efficient and supports the strategy of DWS. We have started our journey to migrate our core infrastructure onto Cloud based technology and give us the opportunity to select modern enterprise platforms across multiple disciplines. This role is primarily responsible for managing the separation and provision of new DWS office networks and WAN services along with the required cloud and DC connectivity. Your role will include carrying out all aspects of project management covering developing project plans, managing deliverables according to the plan, Assign and track tasks to project team members, dependency management, working with stakeholders and vendors to meet our deliverables. Role & Responsibilities: • Delivering and managing the whole project life cycle - Planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project • Identity and manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) through to project completion • Manage the project in accordance with Project Methodology ensuring a seamless handover to Infra managed services • Identify and schedule internal/external resources to deliver the project, manage those resources within a matrix structure • Manage relationships, deliverables and project resources • Planning, effort estimations, status reporting and project tracking • Cable layout and installation tracking, Network implementation and service integration • Network Implementation and Service Integration. Working with stakeholders like Security, Procurement, Finance, External vendors including market data service vendors • Work closely with Infra technology delivery lead per requirements and assist them on successful delivery of the program/workstream activities • Work with DB stakeholders on establishing the required connectivity with DWS cloud environment and CoLo Data Centers. • Working in close collaboration with EUC workstream as part of user migration activities Required Skills: • Significant experience of delivery / project / programme / portfolio management in an agile, multi-disciplined and commercial environment, in roles across Business and IT • Detailed knowledge of the principles of project management • Key experience working on network transformation programme • Excellent network / infrastructure delivery • Strong stakeholder, negotiation and conflict management skills • Broad knowledge and experience of different delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban • Good delivery management experience in multi-functional projects • Good experience of managing external suppliers and vendors • Proven track record in the continued optimization of the project release schedule to support the frequent delivery of high-quality releases • Understand the value of agile artefacts and metrics (backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task definition) • Excellent dependency management including risk and issue management • Good experience in using project management tools like MS Project planner, Atlassian JIRA,MS office excel, PowerPoint, word and Visio skills • General awareness of cloud migration and cloud hosting vendors • Experience of working with vendors including, Bloomberg, Refinity, Factset, MSCI etc • Experience of delivering new office networks, SD-WAN (Meraki) and cloud connectivity (GCP, Azure) It would be desirable if you had: • Technical certifications or technical background based on your previous work experience
