Description:
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments -- including public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid cloud. This can include cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. • Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed low-level design and extensible code. • Technically lead a team on complex projects. • Be an advocate of industry best-practices to produce reliable, fault-torrent, and dependable code. • Code and test complex system modules; develop and leverage frameworks to be effective and efficient. • Collaborate and influence other teams to deliver and operate large scale, distributed services in the cloud. • Mentor other engineers, defining our challenging technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team. Key Skills: • Proven experience with Database Migration Service (DMS) and trouble shooting. • Proficiency in Python and Spark streaming. • Experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda and Simple Notification Service (SNS). • Knowledge of security best practices (e.g., using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.). • Experience with job scheduling using Airflow. • Experience with Big Data Technologies Cloud Native and Data Lakes in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role. • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through with exceptional verbal and written communications.
