Make Honey - Social Media, PR and Content Intern Would you like to gain experience with one of Campaign’s World Leading Independent Agencies? Are you looking to spend time at a fast-paced, purpose-driven, international agency? As a junior member of the team, you have the chance to get involved in content creation, PR outreach, and social strategy and implementation. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn from the rest of the team, receive feedback on your work and gain valuable practical experience, skills and confidence. One day you might be tasked to conduct research for an international mobile phone launch, another to create social posts for a fitness brand and the following to write a press release for a new RoboVac. No two days are the same at Make Honey. Tasks may also include managing social media accounts, assisting with logistics and administrative tasks, events organisation, influencer outreach and contributing to Make Honey’s own marketing efforts. Core Responsibilities Support your colleagues across a variety of accounts Be proactive and flexible, surprise and delight clients and solve their problems Perform research and market analysis Build and maintain media contact and influencer lists Research, write, edit, proofread copy Contribute to campaigns that meet the client’s brief and budget Monitor clients and alert the team to possible issues Support on presentations to potential and existing clients Assist in administrative duties such as managing and distributing product stock Manage expectations and work and help to ensure deadlines are met Check, report and measure a campaign’s progress Contribute to Make Honey’s culture, make people smile every day, and feel awesome about the work they do Key Skills Tenacity, curiosity, confidence, tact and an outgoing manner Excellent organisational, project and time management skills Interest in digital marketing, social media, SEO, CRM, content creation and outreach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage expectations and workload across accounts Collaborate with colleagues and clients in a professional, helpful and proactive manner Good analytical skills Confident working in a fast-paced startup environment Efficiency at Google Docs (Word; Excel); Slack and Asana The job is based in Aldgate, London. However, the team is currently working from home as per the UK government’s guidelines. This subsidised internship (travel costs up to the value of £500) will last for three months, after which we shall evaluate your performance and discuss the next steps and/or progression at Make Honey accordingly.
