Role: We are looking for a marketing assistant for the period of 1 – 3 months – but we can be flexible with the right candidate. The position is unpaid. Job Description: - Research market trends, demographics, pricing strategies, and other relevant information that helps the direction of the business - Creating company persona’s - Content marketing including strategy creation - Assists in creating promotional materials, including brochures, blogs, marketing copy, etc. - assisting with promotional activities - Management of social media accounts - Monthly reporting on performance - Enters marketing data into spreadsheets and helps to create data and financial reports - Presenting findings to executives and other staff - Contacting and seeking partnerships/ collaborators within the industry to help and grow the company profile - Contributing to creative discussions and decision-making about the business' future - any other marketing/ business growth related tasks Requirements: - Entrepreneurial skills and willing to go that extra mile - Self-directed and able to work without supervision - High school degree or equivalent - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) - Ability to multitask - Cope well under pressure - Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas Skills - Confidence - Organisational skills - Commercial awareness - Adaptability - Creativity - Good team-working skills - Communication skills - Numerical skills - IT skills
