Supervisor, Damage Prevention (Gas Operations)

Posting End Date: Work Place Flexibility: Onsite Legal Entity:Entergy Louisiana, LLC As a safety sensitive position, compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) drug and alcohol regulations is required, including but not limited to pre:employment drug testing and background screening. Entergy has entered into an agreement to sell its Louisiana gas distribution business to Bernhard Capital Partners. The sale is expected to close in approximately the third quarter of 2025. Entergy has no planned reduction in workforce as a result of this sale, and intends to operate the business as usual prior to the sale. Job Summary/Purpose Maintain the high level of safety performance within the Damage Prevention group and conduct safety field audits. Job Duties/Responsibilities : Manage and oversee the scheduling and assigning of gas underground locate tickets for Entergy company employees and contract workforce. Ensure all locates are done within the 48:hour dictated by state laws.: Work with and provide input to the Entergy Legislative organization when necessary for dig law improvements. Be an active member of the Louisiana Utility Association, working with other utilities for census or issues and build recommendations for process and procedure improvements.: Work with Louisiana One Call to improve operational processes targeting reduction in overall ticket volume which will result in O and M reductions. Willing to be an active member of any committee when asked to participate by the Louisiana One Call Center.: Work withGas Managers to assist in damage investigations. Manage and complete all complaints for the Damage Prevention group in CCS to ensure a satisfactory completion. Work with claims management to investigate damages to Entergy facilities. Track and analyze locate ticket types and identify trends for process improvement opportunities.: Manage all expenditures to achieve cost performance targets while maintaining and meeting all locate expenditures. Lead, develop and implement ECI projects that improve overall processes, procedures, and performance. Achieve operational excellence by setting and communicating aggressive performance expectation, learning/teaching process improvements, measuring/monitoring performance levels, providing feedback and coaching performance improvements to employees. Minimum Requirements Minimum experience required of the position : 8 years of Distribution experience Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position : Be available for call out at all times. : Ability to work emergency or storm restoration. : Be able to perform basic computer skills. : Work with external and internal customers, such that all inquiries are addressed satisfactorily. Any certificates, licenses, etc. required of the position : None Working Conditions Office environment with minimal physical requirements As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours, to work in alternate locations, and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company.
