Senior Full-Stack Software Developer
Description:
Role and responsibilities Own the development of 1-2 systems Design the software architecture, including APIs connecting with other platforms (ensure best practices as defined by system architect are followed) Design and build the back-end, including database structures Work with UI designer and Product Owner to build the front end / user interface Develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, clean, efficient and scalable code and documentation Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues. Work with Project and/or Product Manager to determine reasonable timelines, and be proactive in reporting and communicating risks to the timelines Required skills and experience Proven experience as a full-stack developer, with expertise in PHP/Laravel and VueJS (6+ years) A thorough understand of the principles and practices of Clean Code Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design Experience with RESTful API development and integration Strong knowledge of database design and optimization (ideally MySQL) Fluent git skills Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment Ready, willing and able to take the lead within a team to propose solutions and proactively drive the project forward without waiting to be asked. Able to work on their own with little supervision, but consults the work and ideas with relevant experts Proactive in communication on risks, issues, delays etc. Able to drive best practices and solutions Desired skills and experience Degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience of working with project management tools such as Shortcut, Jira, or Wrike Experience with other modern PHP frameworks Knowledge of one or more other programming languages Knowledge of server configurations and deployments.
