In this senior client-facing role you will uphold our core values and inspire a culture of trust and collaboration with our clients and respective bid teams. Reporting to the Group Development Director, you will play a key role in driving our ambitious business forward in line with our overall Group business strategy.Main Duties and Responsibilities:The main duties and responsibilities are outlined as follows: Responsible for growing water and/or wastewater treatment market share for Glanua in the UK Municipal MarketDevelop national strategies and lead growth in municipal water/wastewater treatment and bioresource marketProduce Business and Management Intelligence reports (including sales pipeline/funnel, forecast annual revenue, and sales performance, to enable informed decision makingDevelop and implement key client engagement plans and actionsDevelop new strategic partner relationships and actively maintain established partnerships.Provide oversight of work-winning activities.Development and implementation of innovative commercial strategies aligned to the clients’ key outcomes.Provide critical input into bid go / no-go decisions.Positioning the business towards projects and programmes that are in line with our business strategy.Providing valuable market insight and intel to inform our overall business strategy and position the business accordingly.Facilitate win theme and answer planning sessions, draft (and coach others to draft) compelling proposal.Identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiency in the execution of work-winning activities.Raising our profile within the Sector through Thought Leadership and other marcomms activity such as conference presentations and industry articles as appropriate. Knowledge, Skills and Experience:The main knowledge, skills and experience required are outlined as follows: Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.Sound understanding of the UK regulated water sector.Familiarity with CRM systems.A proven track record of taking major bids through Lead Identification, Pre-Qualification, Tender, Negotiation, and Handover stage.Excellent communication skills, adaptable, with a determination to succeed.A passion for developing compelling propositions that maximise value to our clients and their customers and partners.Ability to think creatively and contribute new, innovative ideas and ways of working to generate efficiencies in work-winning and to enhance the quality of our value propositions.Degree Qualified - Engineering or Quantity Surveying.Strong communication skills with a high level of motivation.Full Driving License.
